Innovation Zone

Showcasing new fundraising products and services

The Innovation Zone is a showcasing event for new fundraising products and services. It gives fundraisers the opportunity to find out more about new initiatives without having to investigat them all independently while giving suppliers the opportunity to promote their products and learn from fundraisers' experience.

A bi-annual event, the Innovation Zone allows suppliers to present their product to a panel of Institute of Fundraising members. After a 15 minute presentation, the panel are able to question the supplier and gain a greater understanding of how the product or service could be used in practice. The panel are then given time to draw their conclusions in private.

Summary reports which include what the product is and how it works are made publicly available. Organisational members of the Institute can access full reports which include the panel's conclusions and their views on the advantages and disadvantages of the product or service.
