What's next for 2017: membership of the IoF

Joan Fisher | 22 December 2016

Joan Fisher, Head of Individual Membership reflects on some of the IoF membership milestones of 2016, and looks ahead at what IoF individual members can expect in 2017.

When we welcomed Helen Brandley, Trusts and Major Donors Manager at homelessness charity Emmaus UK, as the 6000th member of the IoF, she said: "I'm really looking forward to attending the fantastic IoF training workshops, and networking with other like-minded professionals."

Through belonging to the IoF, our members show the greatest level of commitment to the profession and to the highest standards of fundraising. Members are an integral part of our networks across the UK, and are able to contribute to developing our policy positions - as well as having preferential access to our training, qualifications and conferences.

In the coming year, we will be developing specialist resources as a benefit of membership by developing a wide range of content which will be accessible, via our website, only to IoF members. We will also be seeking our members’ views to both represent those views and provide a collective voice to champion your priorities.
