Technology

The IOF Technology Special Interest Group is for anyone working in or with charities who has an interest in fundraising and technology.
For us, technology includes (but is not limited to) websites, databases, CRM software, emails, social media and even the humble spreadsheet. This often means we discuss topics such as Gift Aid, data protection, list swapping, data hygiene, social media trends, web development, accessibility and user experience.
There's no entry exam – you don’t have to prove your l33t coding skills or execute database queries while blindfolded. All you need is an interest in how technology is used in the not-for-profit sector.

Our members are typically fundraisers, administrators, webmasters, web editors, database people and IT support staff at charities, as well as a few consultants and commercial suppliers.
