To provide fundraisers with up-to-date skills, information and understanding about how to apply successfully to grant-making trusts and foundations (GMTs) for funding, focusing on latest trends.
For
Dedicated GMT fundraisers; also relevant to all fundraisers for whom GMT fundraising is a major part of their work.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Be aware of the background, nature and structure of trusts and the trust environment.
- Plan and identify sources for researching trusts generally, and more specifically
- Plan and prioritise a schedule of approaches to trusts
- Match charities’ needs with suitable grant-making trusts
- Construct an application to a trust, using correct methods and principles
