The Events interest group was set up as an opportunity for all those across Scotland involved in organising events to ‘toxic dump’ and ‘stress abseil’!
Members of the group recognise that the events fundraising role is hugely diverse and demands a range of skills from project management to effective administration.
Members come together quarterly to share ideas and experiences and to work together to develop shared knowledge banks to avoid duplication of work.
The Scottish Events Interest Group aims to:
- Promote best practice in events fundraising.
- Enhance the skills and ability of events fundraisers.
- Enable networking opportunities and support amongst events fundraisers.
- Share and provide information about opportunities for events fundraising.
