01/12/2014 The Institute of Fundraising (IoF) has today changed its Code of Fundraising Practice to introduce a new standard for those fundraising with people in vulnerable circumstances. The new rule, approved by the IoF Standards Committee and Board, relates to treating all donors fairly, enabling them to make informed decisions, and taking into account the needs of individuals who may be in a vulnerable circumstance.
25/11/2014 A major survey of fundraising and finance professionals has kicked off to understand the trends and priorities for the charity sector.
26/01/2015 Last year’s Fundraising for Hospices conference in partnership with Hospice UK (formerly Help the Hospices) touched on a number of fundraising challenges that the hospice sector contends with, including donor fatigue resulting from a need to meet funding targets from same geographic area and populace. This year’s programme will draw from the learning that came from the 2014 event and look at practical ways to improve your fundraising practices.
