The ImpACT (Improving Accountability, Clarity and Transparency) Coalition is an cross-sectoral initiative, hosted by the Institute of Fundraising, which aims to preserve trust in charities by raising standards and understanding of transparency and accountability.
We aim to help charities communicate the benefits that their work and vision of change actually brings to society and explain the way that modern charities operate.
We number more than 180, predominately charities and trade bodies. Amongst the members are the top 40 fundraising charities in the UK together with the major trade and infrastructure bodies. We are delighted that the diversity of our membership reflects the rich diversity of the sector as a whole.
Membership is also open to commercial suppliers keen to share in the common task of improving standards of transparency and accountability.
Membership is free and it is easy to join online on the ImpACT Coalition web site. Members receive regular email briefings, invitation to practically orientated member’s seminars and are actively encouraged to measure their own transparency and accountability and set targets for improvement using the online confidential toolkit.
To become a member all that is required is to be an organisation in the charitable sector committed to change and improvement your transparency and accountability and keen to join others in this quest.
We will soon be announcing a programme of workshops and seminars to help target and tackle specific issues.
