The BME Sustainability Project

Report of Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary and community organisations

The BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) Sustainability Project is an investigation of the funding inequality experienced by BME voluntary and community organisations.

The work represents a partnership between the Active Community Unit in the Home Office, the Institute of Fundraising and two BME organisations, Blackliners and the Sickle Cell Society.

The aim of the project is to increase the ability of the BME voluntary sector to develop effective and sustainable fundraising through disseminating the experience of a demonstration project undertaken by Blackliners and the Sickle Cell Society.
