The Innovation Zone is a road testing system for fundraising products and services, established to facilitate and promote innovation in fundraising.
In considering applications to appear before the Innovation Zone panel, the Institute of Fundraising use the following criteria:
Selection Criteria
- The Idea must, in the Institute’s opinion, be new or innovative.
- The Idea and its implementation must, in the Institute’s opinion, comply with the Institute’s Codes of Fundraising Practice.
- The Idea must, in the Institute’s opinion, be testable.
- The Idea must not infringe rights of any third party.
- Implementation of the Idea must not be unlawful.
Before you apply to the Institute of Fundraising for your service or product to appear before the Innovation Panel you must ensure:
- Your service or product is an innovative and new fundraising tool for charities;
- Your service or product complies with all current legislation, regulation and guidelines;
- Your service or product is launch-ready or has been launched in the previous year.
Products and services submitted for consideration to appear before the Innovation Zone panel that are not launch-ready or have not been launched in the previous year, will not be considered.
