Bucks. Net is a technology company and e-payments gateway (processing donations in a similar way to PayPal or World Pay) that facilitates donations via mobile phones. Unlike other mobile phone donation mechanisms, this initiative does not involve a telephone call. Instead, use is made of the Mobile Internet capability of modern phones.
Donating online via mobile phones enables donors to act instantly and make real-time donations. These donations can be made by debit or credit card, either as a one-off gift or a recurring payment, directly to the charity.
This donation mechanism does not require donors to pre-register and uses the highest levels of encryption which match internet security standards.
