As an Institute of Fundraising member, you will enjoy a range of benefits specifically designed to address your needs.

We also offer support and networking opportunities through our National, Regional and Special Interest Groups. You will be linked to your nearest Regional Group when you join, and you can take part in as many Special Interest Groups as you like.

Membership Levels
Associate member
This is currently the entry level for all those involved in any aspect of fundraising. If you choose to pursue the Certificate in Fundraising Management, then you may - according to which modules you successfully complete - progress to:
Full member MInstF
Accredited level for those who have completed either Module 1 or Module 2.
Full Certificated member - MInstF(Cert)
Certificated level for those who have completed both modules.
For those members who are recognised as having made a special contribution to both the fundraising profession and the Institute, there is the opportunity to become a Fellow - FInstF.

Membership Fees

(For new members, there is an additional one-off joining fee of £22 - reduced to £15 if you choose to pay your membership fees by Direct Debit).
There are four easy ways to pay:
- Direct Debit (This reduces your joining fee from £22 to £15)
- Cheque (which should be made payable to ‘Institute of Fundraising’)
- Debit/Credit Card (please note: there is a 2.75% surcharge for credit card transactions)
- By requesting an invoice
You will be asked to mark your chosen payment method on the application form.
