Legal Seminars

Vital legal advice and best practice updates from solicitors and fundraising experts

Click here to book your place onlineExcellence in fundraising is more than running outstanding events, negotiating corporate partnerships or developing successful direct mail campaigns.

Continuous fundraising success goes hand in hand with the law: complying with tax, health and safety, insurance, data protection and other rules and regulations can make or break your fundraising activities. Legislation affects you and your organisation, your partners, your suppliers and your donors.

To ensure you are up-to-date with the current regulations, the Institute of Fundraising has joined forces with Bates Wells and Braithwaite Solicitors to deliver a range of half-day seminars tackling all the key issues.

The workshops are composed of practical and advisory sessions and will be rounded off with an interactive panel session during which you will be able to ask any remaining questions.

The seminars present a one-off chance to gain an update on the current regulations and to receive advice on applying them to your fundraising activities. Speakers will include a mix of solicitors and fundraising practitioners, all on hand to answer your questions in one single half-day workshop.
