Mark AstaritaMark Astarita

Mark Astarita MInstF is Chair of the Institute of Fundraising. He has served as a Trustee of the IoF since February 2008. His role involves leading the IoF’s board of Trustees to inform the overall direction of the organisation. Mark is also Director of Fundraising at the British Red Cross.

Mark's previous roles include Deputy Chief Executive at the National Deaf Children's Society and Fundraising Manager at Prisoners Abroad.

Mark has experience of appearing in national and regional titles and regularly comments on fundraising developments in the sector press.

Peter LewisPeter Lewis

Peter Lewis is Chief Executive of the Institute of Fundraising. His role involves responsibility for the overall leadership and management of the IoF, making sure the Institute delivers against the organisational objectives set by our members in the most effective way possible.

Peter Lewis’ previous roles include Chief Executive of London Voluntary Service Council; he has worked for Crisis, acted as CEO of the London Cycling Campaign and held a senior role at the Greater London Authority.

Peter Lewis has appeared in the media on many occasions, with a particular emphasis on London titles. He has experience of working with national, broadcast and print channels and is media trained. His previous media experience includes live and pre-recorded radio and TV, including TV debates.

Paul MarvellPaul Marvell

Paul Marvell is Director of Professional Development and Membership at the Institute of Fundraising. He is responsible for driving forward the professionalism and effectiveness of fundraising through the Institute’s range of learning opportunities, including qualifications, courses, online learning, CPD and conferences. A career fundraiser, Paul was previously Director of Fundraising and Communications at AMREF (African Medical & Research Foundation) and has also held senior fundraising roles at British Red Cross and RNIB.

Paul’s media experience includes numerous appearances on local and regional radio and TV and many interviews with national print and online media publications. A regular contributor to online forums and discussions, he is an avid Tweeter and exponent of social networking.

Ceri EdwardsCeri Edwards

Ceri Edwards is Director of Policy and Communciations and has responsibility for the Institute of Fundraising's policy and communications work: promoting the organisation, its work and reputation and making sure its views, and those of its members, contribute to opinion forming and decision making across the sector and beyond.

 


DanielDaniel Fluskey

Head of Policy and Research

Daniel is Head of Policy and Research and leads the Institute's policy development and research work, keeping up to date with member priorities, promoting innovation on fundraising and working with key stakeholders, including civil servants and politicians, to make sure fundraising and giving are key priorities for the current and future governments.
