Carrick Allison, Director of Professional Development
Spokesperson on issues of the professional development of fundraisers
Appointed to his role in March 2007, Carrick comes to the Institute following wide experience in a wide variety of project management, learning, training and professional development positions. He is responsible for the delivery and ongoing development of the Institute’s professional development work. Included in this exciting programme is the ongoing delivery of the Institute of Fundraising’s Certificate in Fundraising Management. The Professional Development team is also working on a critical new Institute project, in partnership with the UK Workforce Hub, to redevelop the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Fundraising. This will have a major impact on the future direction of fundraisers, and fundraising. Carrick is highly experienced in planning and change management and the delivery of complex projects both in national and international settings.
