Louise Richards, Director of Policy and Campaigns
Spokesperson on fundraising policy best practice and campaigning issues
Louise's specific responsibilities include leading the Institute’s campaigning activities, and driving forward the policy, standards and information functions of the Institute.
Louise is a languages and politics graduate from the University of Leicester. She has been Chief Executive of two charities, War on Want and Computer Aid International, and is a Board member of another charity, Community Heart.
Prior to that, she worked as Head of International Relations for the public sector trade union UNISON for over twenty years. The main focus of her work to date has been in the field of international relations and international development.
