Best UK Fundraising Celebrated at National Awards Ceremony

Last night, a glittering awards ceremony recognised and rewarded the achievements of many successful fundraisers. A panel of highly respected and influential fundraisers acted as judging panel and presenters at the Institute’s National Awards event, which was hosted by ITN’s Nicholas Owen.

  • Best Business-Charity Partnership (large charities) – Oxfam GB and Marks & Spencers;
  • Best Business-Charity Partnership (small charities) – SolarAid;
  • Best Donor Development Campaign – NSPCC;
  • Most Innovative Fundraising Campaign – NSPCC (Childline) and Help the Aged;
  • Best Use of Direct Mail – The Royal British Legion;
  • Best Use of E-Media – Comic Relief;
  • Best Use of Face-to-Face – Shelter;
  • Best Use of Legacy Fundraising – Friends of the Earth;
  • Best Use of Payroll Giving – Beaverbrooks;
  • Best use of the Telephone – Save the Children;
  • Fundraising Team of the Year – Royal Parks Foundation;
  • Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year – Barbara Walmsley;
  • Best Fundraising Charity to Work For – CLIC Sargeant;
  • Best Up and Coming Fundraiser – Cat Kirkcaldy;
  • The Gill Astarita Fundraiser of the Year Award – Arun Sharma;
  • Lifetime Contribution Award – Judy Beard
