IoF Scotland behind new OSCR Regulations
New guidance available online
The Institute of Fundraising Scotland is behind new regulations published by OSCR on compliance with the Charities and Benevolent Fundraising (Scotland) Regulations 2009. The guidance, which is newly published, is a result of the Institute’s influence and joint working with OSCR.
The Regulations, which come into force from 1st July 09, specify how fundraisers must operate in their dealings with charities and the donating public. The Scottish Government is expected to produce further regulations in the future regarding public benevolent collections.
