Pivotal report on potential of mobile phones and text messages for charities published
Together with nfpSynergy and CAF, the Institute has published an important report into the fundraising potential of mobile phone text messaging. The report is the result of three year’s work by the organisations, and aims to encourage greater use of mobile phones and text messages as a fundraising and communications tool for charities and non-profits.
The report shows that the issue of mobile phones and text messages runs deeper than the cost of text donations.
The three organisations behind the report are engaged in discussion with the industry about the cost of text donations, but the report also provides inspiration and ideas for fundraisers to make better use of mobiles and SMS.
