Small Charities in London - Achieving Great Fundraising in Your Area
9th November 2016
The event starts with refreshments and registration from 1:30 (presentations start at 2pm), and closes at 5pm.
Are you a small charity in London trying to overcome your fundraising challenges?
Charities in London are vital for local communities, but many smaller charities are also facing a tough funding climate. This brand new event at London City Hall is a chance for small charities from across the capital to hear fundraising experts talk about how best to fundraise from the public, and offer practical guidance and support to help raise funds for their work.
This event, kindly supported by London Assembly Member Florence Eshalomi AM, aims to help small charities from across London to develop and strengthen their fundraising, give inspiration and practical guidance for charities looking to diversify their funding.
The event will be a mixture of presentations and workshops, hearing and learning from experts and peers in London’s charity sector on how to:
High Value Giving
To understand how best to engage with those who may be willing to provide large one off donations to your charity.
To understand how best to ask members of the public for small, regular donations to support your cause.
Community and Event Fundraising
Learn how to improve your community events and one off public fundraising activities.
