Amanda Bringans

Amanda Bringans, IoF Chair

Amanda brings with her an impressive track record of experience having led fundraising teams at some of the UK’s most loved and supported charities. Her previous roles include Director of Global Fundraising and Communications at VSO and 16 years working at Macmillan Cancer Support where she became Director of Fundraising.

She has also held senior roles with Leonard Cheshire Disability and Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Amanda joined the British Heart Foundation as its Director of Fundraising in December 2015.

Peter Lewis new

Peter Lewis, Chief Executive

Peter Lewis is Chief Executive of the Institute of Fundraising. His role involves responsibility for the overall leadership and management of the IoF, making sure the Institute delivers against the organisational objectives set by our members in the most effective way possible.

Peter Lewis’ previous roles include Chief Executive of London Voluntary Service Council; he has worked for Crisis, acted as CEO of the London Cycling Campaign and held a senior role at the Greater London Authority.

Peter Hills-Jones

Peter Hills-Jones, Director of Compliance

Having held the position of Chief Executive of the PFRA since 2014, Peter oversaw the merger of the PFRA with the Institute of Fundraising in September, where he is now the Director of Compliance. As Director of Compliance, Peter is responsible for ensuring IoF members are consistently demonstrating high professional standards in their fundraising. His team monitor performance of members across their street, door-to-door, private site and telephone fundraising operations, providing support and guidance where required.

Ceri has responsibility for the Institute of Fundraising's policy and communications work: promoting the organisation, its work and reputation and making sure its views, and those of its members, contribute to opinion forming and decision making across the sector and beyond.

Daniel Fluskey

Daniel Fluskey, Head of Policy and Research

Daniel is Head of Policy and Research and leads the Institute's policy development and research work, keeping up to date with member priorities, promoting innovation on fundraising and working with key stakeholders, including civil servants and politicians, to make sure fundraising and giving are key priorities for the current and future governments.

Mike Smith 

Mike Smith, Head of Media and Public Affairs

Mike is the Head of Media and Public Affairs at the Institute of Fundraising.  He joined the IoF in October 2015 having worked for many years in large and small charities across the sector.  His background is in campaigning, communications and public affairs, most recently as joint Head of Public Affairs at Age UK. Prior to his time with Age UK he spent 3 years working with Oxfam in both government relations and public campaigning roles.

Rob Cope

Rob Cope, Director of Remember A Charity

Rob Cope is director of Remember A Charity, a consortium of 140 UK charities that work together to make gifts in Wills the social norm. Rob was previously deputy director of marketing and communications at The Prince’s Trust.

Pam Dodd, IoF Cymru/Wales Project Manager

Pam supports fundraisers and fundraising organisations in Wales through the provision of training and advice.
