Amanda Bringans, IoF Chair

Amanda brings with her an impressive track record of experience having led fundraising teams at some of the UK’s most loved and supported charities. Her previous roles include Director of Global Fundraising and Communications at VSO and 16 years working at Macmillan Cancer Support where she became Director of Fundraising.

She has also held senior roles with Leonard Cheshire Disability and Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Amanda joined the British Heart Foundation as its Director of Fundraising in December 2015.

Peter Lewis, Chief Executive

Peter Lewis is Chief Executive of the Institute of Fundraising. His role involves responsibility for the overall leadership and management of the IoF, making sure the Institute delivers against the organisational objectives set by our members in the most effective way possible.

Peter Lewis’ previous roles include Chief Executive of London Voluntary Service Council; he has worked for Crisis, acted as CEO of the London Cycling Campaign and held a senior role at the Greater London Authority.

Daniel is Head of Policy and Research and leads the Institute's policy development and research work, keeping up to date with member priorities, promoting innovation on fundraising and working with key stakeholders, including civil servants and politicians, to make sure fundraising and giving are key priorities for the current and future governments.
