Making sure fundraisers have their voices heard in Scotland

IoF Scotland

Stephen George | 29 June 2017

Fundraising regulation and standards in Scotland continue to evolve, and the IoF is committed to ensuring that fundraisers have their voices heard in the discussion.

We recently held the first meeting of the IoF Standards Advisory Board Scotland, which is made up of fundraisers experienced in diverse areas of our field in order to better represent the needs and interests of our membership. You can find out more about the committee members here.

This committee will feed in to the discussion on fundraising standards in Scotland alongside OSCR and the Independent Fundraising Standards and Adjudication Panel (IFSAP), as well as contributing to the UK-wide dialogue at Standards Advisory Board meetings. Points arising from the Scottish Advisory Board will be brought forward by chair Susan Robinson and deputy-chair Nicola Sinclair.

The Independent Panel will soon begin working under a new public facing name of the Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel, and have launched their new websiteand new Twitter handle.
