With funding from Arts Council England the Institute of Fundraising has embarked on an ambitious four year programme of support for fundraising and development professionals working within the arts, culture and heritage sector, commencing in Spring 2018. RAISE : Arts, Culture & Heritage funded activities include a comprehensive programme of networking, peer-learning, mentoring and access to onward education

A strong and financially sustainable cultural sector creates a society in which all can flourish, with all the economic and social benefits that the cultural industries provide. Working with the Arts Council the Institute of Fundraising are committed to helping spread the word that #culturematters

RAISE is designed to:

  • fly the flag for the charitable case for culture
  • champion arts and cultural sector fundraising
  • empower arts and cultural sector fundraisers to achieve higher levels of fundraising practice
  • support the drive for greater inclusivity, diversity and representation within the sector
