6 - 8 July 2020

For the first time ever, Fundraising Convention will take place online! Bringing the fundraising community together each July is the highlight of our year, and we’re delighted that this year will be no different.

We have worked hard to ensure that this incredible event can be delivered in a way that works for you - maximising all the opportunities you would have from the face to face event, while making the content easily accessible remotely.

This year RAISE offers full 30 bursaries for individuals to join Fundraising Convention 2020. The bursary will give you access to:

  • All three days of live sessions and activities
  • All 80 on-demand sessions
  • Networking with the wider fundraising community

You can find the full programme here

Deadline for applications is midday Monday 22 June

Please complete the online application form below by the deadline. If you have any questions, please contact Rosario Bellolio at

To apply, you must be an arts/culture sector fundraiser or development professional working in England and based outside Greater London.

We will prioritise applications from:

  • Individuals self-identifying as Black, Asian or from a Minority Ethnic (BAME) background.
  • Individual working in a small charity within the arts and culture sector - small charities are those with an annual turnover (contributed and earned income) up to £750,000.
  • Individuals in the first five years of their fundraising career

*These bursaries have been made possible thanks to Arts Council England funding, so it is important you or your organisation mainly provide activities that are to engage or benefit people in England.

  • Bursaries are open to both members and non-members of the Institute of Fundraising, including furloughed staff
  • Bursaries are non-transferable, they are awarded to individuals based on their application.
  • Due to a high number of applications, only successful applicants will be notified via email on the week commencing 29th June, outlining next steps.
  • Please note we ask all successful applicants to confirm acceptance of the award within 3 working days from the notification email.
  • Copies of the applications which exclude the name of the applicant and identifiable details will be reviewed by a panel made up of the RAISE team and includes a representative from the IoF’s Expert Advisory Panel on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. The panel will decide which applications should receive the bursary. The panel’s decision is final.
