Professional fundraising coach and trainer, Bill Bruty, will take us through the 5 pathways that a high-value gift can find its way to your organisation and what practical action you can take to leverage each pathway and increase the chances of a transformational gift.

One of the crucial questions in high value fundraising is “Who makes the first move?”  Do most examples of significant funding arise from pro-active approaches from NGOs; or is it the donor who tends to start the discussion?  There are five common pathways to find new high value funders and/or to secure larger gifts from existing funders.  These five options are based upon the analysis of 320 case studies of high value first gifts and major transformations in giving from trusts and high net-worth individuals.

Professional fundraising coach and trainer, Bill Bruty, will take us through the 5 pathways that a high-value gift can find its way to your organisation and what practical action you can take to leverage each pathway and increase the chances of a transformational gift.

Bill will be joined by Lee Lloyd, Head of High Value Giving at Child Bereavement UK, to share his experiences of working with major trusts and foundations and how these principles can be applied to small and medium sized charities.

This course is relevant if your organisation is looking to secure gifts from Trusts and Foundations, Corporates and/ or High-net worth individuals. Join us from 1.30pm for lunch, festive refreshments and networking with your fundraising peers.  Speakers will start at 2.30pm promptly.
