There are around 9,000 grant-making trusts in the UK worth around £4bn to the sector. Having a full understanding of trusts and foundations, the grant application process and what trusts are looking for means that you can write a request that really stands out. This course teaches you all this, and gives you the professional techniques to write effective, confident requests

"The course provided a helpful foundation for developing further Trust fundraising skills. It clearly established why Trust fundraising is so important to the income of charities and how best to approach Trusts given that there is a huge amount of competition for funds within the charity sector. All in all I feel far more confident going forward in my role, having learnt the basics on this course." - Rhiannon Wilson, Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser, Meningitis Research Foundation
