GDPR Webinars

The Institute of Fundraising in partnership with Birketts is pleased to offer the recent, highly praised GDPR seminar in a webinar format.

The webinar is in three parts and is appropriate for anyone who handles data or has to make decisions about data protection: 

  • Introducing the GDPR
  • Building a Compliance Plan
  • Focus on Fundraising – communications and case study

 

In booking to access the webinar series you agree to the terms set out below:

Copying, Sharing, Amending and Dissemination of Webinar and Associated Materials

You will not at any time copy, share, amend or disseminate the webinar, content of the webinar or any of the materials with any person outside of your organisation save that you are permitted to edit the Compliance Plan workbook to suit your organisation’s internal business requirements. This clause continues for 5 years after the term of this agreement.

 The following materials are available to download once you have accessed the webinar:

  • A copy of the Compliance Plan workbook
  • Fundraising communications
  • Case study question booklet
  • Case study answers booklet

 

Neither these materials nor the webinar may be copied, shared or in any other way disseminated to individuals outside of your organisation.

In addition, Birketts have produced two hard copy booklets:

  • The General Data Protection Regulation - Complying with the new law
  • Charity Fundraising, Complying with recent changes in law and regulation

 

To obtain copies of the booklet, you will need to email your name, organisation and postal address to Birketts using the email address and code sent to you in your registration confirmation email.

Costs

Payment for the webinar must be made in advance and is payable by credit or debit card only.

The webinar is available to members and non members of the Institute of Fundraising:

  • Individual or Organisational Member rate £49.00
  • Non Individual or Organisational Member rate £79.00

 

Cancellation and Refunds

Once payment has been made, no refund will be made.

Term

Payment for the webinar allows you access for a maximum 12 month period after which time access will be denied.

Termination

The Institute of Fundraising reserves the right to deny access to the webinar for any delegates who are shown to be in breach of the terms of this agreement. In such circumstances no refund will be given.

Content

Neither the Institute of Fundraising nor Birketts LLP nor the employees of these firms can accept responsibility for the actions of delegates, or those of other people watching the webinar or reading the associated materials, or responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the course content or the course materials.
