Training for Heritage Fundraisers

Giving to Heritage is a Heritage Lottery funded capacity building programme designed to increase the fundraising capabilities of individuals and organisations in the Heritage sector. It provides opportunities for individuals to develop their skills through a range of fundraising workshops, one-to-one consultancy sessions and webinars.
These training opportunities are aimed at anyone actively fundraising in a small independent heritage organisation or organisation that manages heritage assets.
The original two year programme ended on 31 March 2016 but has been extended thanks to Heritage Lottery funding until August 2017. The formal workshop schedule has ended but you can still take advantage of our One-to-One consultancy sessions and series of webinars.
I have found the Giving to Heritage programme to be a fantastic resource for people like me in the Heritage sector who have been tasked with finding ways of increasing income to our organisations - it is a steep learning curve but with help from Giving To Heritage trainers it is possible to see how to achieve our goals"
Giving to Heritage is for individuals working in or actively involved in fundraising for a Heritage group, project or organisation that manages heritage assets in England. e.g. paid member of staff, trustee, volunteer, advisor.
Please note: places on the Giving to Heritage programme are strictly limited to those working in or actively involved with a Heritage group or organisation. It is NOT open to Consultants. All bookings are actively monitored to ensure only individuals representing Heritage organisations benefit from the training opportunities provided by the Giving to Heritage programme.
