Telephone fundraising survey results
13 February 2019
IoF survey findings report that telephone fundraising remains a powerful way of connecting people to causes.
The Institute of Fundraising ran a survey from 15th November to 20th December 2018 which sought to find out more about how charities are using the telephone - whether that is for finding new supporters, engaging with existing donors or stewardship.
122 people started the survey with 119 completing it. The findings, as supplied in more detail below, provide an interesting snapshot of how charities view the role of telephone fundraising within the wider fundraising landscape.
‘A Good Call’, supported by Ethicall, a specialist telephone fundraising agency, was developed alongside this research, which revealed that telephone fundraising remains a staple in charities’ fundraising strategies and is a crucial channel to develop relationships with supporters.
