Alex Xavier joins the IoF as Director of Membership, Compliance and Professional Development

The Institute of Fundraising has announced the appointment of their new Director of Membership, Compliance and Professional Development.
The Institute of Fundraising (IoF), the professional membership organisation for charity fundraisers, is pleased to welcome Alex Xavier to the team. Alex started in his position as Director of Membership, Compliance and Professional Development on Monday 12th February and is responsible for leading the IoF’s Academy, Compliance and Individual Membership teams.
Alex will be leading on growing individual membership, developing the IoF’s Academy programme, and embedding compliance and professional standards within the culture of the UK fundraising community as part of our journey to Chartered status.
Alex brings with him a wealth of experience having previously worked for the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment - a global professional body of over 40,000 members - as Assistant Director of Member Services, as well as holding senior level roles at GovNet Communications and Incisive Media.
